6:Derivatives finds a numerical approximation of the derivative at a designated value of x.

Example: Enter the functions shown and find the derivative at x=2.

Press to access the Y=Editor screen.
Press and select 4:ZoomDec.
Press to draw the graph.
Select 6:Derivative, 1:dy/dx.
Press to go to the graph.
Enter the value x=2.
Press to find the value. The value of the derivative is dy/dx=2.
